April 2nd, 2016
Saturday, April 2nd, 35 Club members gathered at the home of Chuck and Katie Levenson with an eye on earning a trophy at one of the upcoming corvette shows this summer. Chuck provided demonstrations on washing your car with foam, clay baring to remove swirls in your paint, using a buffer (safely) to wax your paint, using the new GM touch up paint, detailing the dreaded engine area and many others. Joe Campbell provided information on cleaning the glass, carpet, seats, dash, and staging for out of town shows. Joe also reviewed judging sheets from three local shows and recent trends in what local area corvette shows are looking for. New detailing products and trends in the display of items related to your car, such as build sheets, dealer advertising and signs describing your car were discussed. The group enjoyed the lunch provided by Katie Levenson and Page Campbell. Thanks to all the participants that brought food and snacks.
